Electric HVAC
A commitment to sustainable mobility
Faced with the challenge of reducing CO₂ emissions, the industrial vehicle and machinery sector (material handling, agriculture, civil engineering) is shifting en masse towards renewable energy. Against this backdrop, cabin climate control has become a key concern for manufacturers incorporating hybrid or fully electric powertrains.
Recognised R&D expertise
As pioneers in the field, SNDC’s R&D teams have designed the HVAC system for the first fully electric self-propelled vineyard vehicle as well as that of the first multi-hybrid city bus. This unique expertise enables SNDC to support its customers in managing critical challenges:
- Energy constraints: Optimising battery range, lifespan and temperature maintenance.
- Cabin comfort: Heating, air conditioning, defrosting and air filtration, whatever the external conditions.
Bespoke original equipment manufacturer (OEM) solutions
SNDC designs and assembles autonomous low-voltage electric HVAC solutions, operating on 12, 24, 48 and 80-volt direct current. These systems are particularly suitable when the compressor can no longer be driven by the internal combustion engine.
The benefits of the SNDC range:
- Optimised performance: An excellent balance between space-saving design and energy efficiency (COP of 1.95).
- Versatility: Systems available in monobloc or split versions, capable of withstanding the most extreme environments (off-road).
- Comprehensive functions: Air conditioning, heating, pressurisation and air filtration to ensure optimal air quality.
Your partner in the energy transition
By combining technological expertise with compliance with regulatory requirements, SNDC has established itself as the preferred partner for manufacturers in the thermal management of tomorrow’s vehicles. Our innovative solutions precisely meet your customers’ expectations for performance and reliability.
