EDAS

BTMS (Battery Thermal Management System) solutions combine a refrigeration circuit, an electric heater and control devices (pumps, solenoid valves, sensors, etc.) to keep the batteries of electric or hybrid vehicles and machinery within their optimal temperature range, generally between 15 °C and 45 °C. During fast charging, discharging or storage, this precise thermal management helps to safeguard two key aspects: battery safety and battery life.

Developed by SNDC, EDAS is a comprehensive diagnostic and monitoring tool designed specifically for controlling BTMS systems. Thanks to its intuitive graphical interface, it allows real-time verification of the proper functioning of battery thermal management and regulation. Circuit pressure, temperatures, power consumption, flow rates, operating statuses: all essential data is centralised, analysed and displayed to provide a comprehensive graphical overview of the BTMS’s proper functioning and health status.

Designed to support manufacturers at every stage of their project, EDAS is used:
