The brazed plate heat exchanger ensures heat transfer between the refrigeration circuit and the glycol circuit, without mixing the fluids. The refrigerant circulates through a network of plates whilst the glycol circulates through adjacent channels. The large heat exchange surface area and the thinness of the plates enable rapid and efficient heat transfer.
Depending on the BTMS operating mode, the heat exchanger cools or heats the glycol, which then regulates the temperature of the connected equipment.
