Battery Thermal Management System (BTMS) for electric and hybrid vehicles

The SENTINEL C Series provides thermal control for vehicle batteries across their entire operating range, ensuring stable performance and extended service life, regardless of how harsh the operating conditions may be.

Based on a multi-loop fluid architecture, it incorporates a PTC heater and a reversible heat pump. The system switches between a passive mode, focused on energy efficiency, and an active mode, for precise and continuous temperature management.

Robustness and flexibility at the heart of the design

The SENTINEL C Series is designed for the most demanding environments. Its modular structure allows for bespoke integration, taking into account space constraints, climatic conditions and intensive usage cycles. Pre-charged with R134a or R1234yf refrigerant, it is designed to speed up commissioning and simplify maintenance operations.

Its functional scope extends, where necessary, to the cooling of the power electronics and traction motor, providing comprehensive thermal management of the electric powertrain.
